Second Post

I am almost finished with Dial L for Loser. Because Dylan's mother has her own popular talk show, she was connections. Dylan, Alicia, Massie, and Claire get to meet the movie stars that are going to be starring in Dial L for Loser. With all of the drama that goes into movie making, one of the stars backs out, which fills an open position in a world wide movie. Alicia, Massie and Claire get an opportunity, from the director himself, to audition for a role in the movie. I wish I was Claire, Massie, or Alicia. They got to fly to Los Angeles in a private jet, stay in a five star hotel with complimentary designer clothing, and a personal driver. Claire ended up getting the part and I'm glad. She doesn't have as much money as the other girls and doesn't get everything she wants. Claire finally got something that Massie, Alicia, or Dylan can't take away from her.

Of course Massie and Alicia are very jealous, but they dont tell Claire that. Instead, they seek sneaky revenge. As the weeks go on, Massie and Alicia feel distant from Claire. She is always canceling plans or forgetting to even show up. Claire begins to realize that she's letting her real friends down, but is way too sidetracked with her movie friends. I can't imagine forgetting about my best friends for some movie stars I didnt even know that well. What Claire didn't know was that her movie satr friends weren't the kind of people she thought they were. To Claire, Abby Boyd (co-star in the movie) had so much in common and were going to stay friends for a while. To Abby, she and Claire were just MBF's; Movie Best Friends.

  1. I'm not a fan of the Clique series, but YAY for Claire! It's sad when people are mean to other people. It's good that Claire got the part. If Massie or Alicia or anyone else had gotten the part, I think they would have been more stuck up about it it that Claire would have been. Flying in a private jet would be so cool! I like nice hotels too. They're... nice.

  2. I like the Clique series, though I find it kinda strange how Massie and Alicia and Dylan and Kristen get to have and do whatever they want when they are so young. I'm glad Claire got the lead role in the play because like you said she finally got something the other girls wanted but didn't have. It was a nice little change :)
