Fifth Post

I have recently finished It's Not Easy Being Mean and the last few pages of the book left me wanting to read more. The book ends with the Pretty Committee being able to see the secret room in OCD for the first time. I wasn't sure how much information would be given by the end of the book. It ends with "Massie reached her hand inside the dark room and flicked on the lights. Alicia, Claire, Dylan, and Kristen stepped forward. Everyone gasped. 'Did I lie?' Skye gushed. Massie tried to answer but coudln't find the words. No one could" When I read this, I though of two things. One was that the room was as amazing as Skye had described it. That it would have a big screen T.V, Spa treatments, and hundreds of back-up designer clothes. The other thing I thought of was that the room was going to be a small and dirty space. I had a bad feeling Skye made the Pretty Committee go through so much, just to get a useless and creepy room. Skye's character is very mysterious and unexpected. I had no clue what kind of a secret room she would give to the Pretty Committee.

I just started the next book in the series called Sealed With A Diss. The book began with describing what the room was actually like. Both of my thoughts about the room were right. At first, Skye and her friends made the room look really gross and unapealing. When the Pretty Committee showed that they were greatly disappionted, Skye and her friends cleaned up the room to show how it actually looked like. The room was better than imagined it. It had a starbucks coffee maker, a popcorn machine, a flat screen t.v, and foot massager. If i was going to have access to this room, i would never want to go home. That room has every type of entertainment you could think of. But unfortunelty, the Pretty Committee couldn't have access to the room until next year when they are in 8th grade. Luckily for them, the end of the school ear was only a few months away.

I commented on Ariana and Tess's blogs.
