I am almost finished with It's Not Easy Being Mean. The key hunt is still going on. All of the girls at OCD are being very secretive and are talking to no one outside of their own group.
Since Claire has been ditching the Pretty Committee for a major movie audition, Massie was fed up. After Alicia, Massie, and Dylan went to Harris Fisher's house and did not the key to the secret room, Massie was furious. To punish Claire, Massie kicked her out of the Pretty Committee. Claire was so upset, but there was an up side. When she was at Layne's house, they felt like bothering Layne's brother, Chris Abeley. While they were in his room, Claire and Layne found something; THE KEY.
This meant that they would be the new alphas of the 8th grade, but neither of them wanted that. In order to get pay back, Layne and Claire decided to make a list of demandments. I thought this was very clever. I know how desperately Claire wanted to be reinstated into the Pretty Committee and I also know how badly Massie wanted to be the 8th grade alpha and have access to the secret room. After 20 minutes of disucssing the terms, Alicia, Dylan, Massie, and Kristen decided to agree with Claire and Layne's terms. All of the girls were happy except for Claire. She wasn't sure if she want to stay in Westchester or move to California for another big movie. If i were in Claire's position, I would choose to stay. I wouldn't want to move to a state across the country and leave all of my friends behind.

wow you should come to my school blair waldorf makes massie look like paula abdul. anyways i agree with you that clair should stay. i think it was stupid that the author put her in a movie because it makes her famous and like ruins the whole point of the series. but i have a question what is the point of being an alpha and whats in the room?

ReplyDeleteAlphas are supposed be like super popular girls who always hold some legacy at OCD. I actually kinda like how Claire gets famous because it really adds a twist to it, how all of a sudden now Claire is super rich and fabulous. I think Claire shouldve left for California because those girls are not really her friends, they always just take advantage of her. I know deep inside Massie and all them kidna like her but they definitely don't show it.
